On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Carnot Institute MICA, Fouzia Boulmedais received the innovation award for the exploratory project PropolPEC. The project funded by the Carnot Institute allowed developing new biomaterials based solely on albumin in collaboration with Philippe Lavalle, Morgane Rabineau from Biomaterials and Bioengineering laboratory and Benoit Frisch from the laboratory CAMB. Eya Aloui carried out this project during her PhD and is now leading the project to create the startup ALBUPA, based on this technology, with the support of the SATT Conectus and BPI France.
